We believe in being the hands and feet of Christ to one another and to the community.
Would you like to meet new people and get more involved at Springhill? Here are various ways you can serve with minimal time commitments. Please contact the church office at 406.582.8000 or email email@example.com to volunteer in one of these areas.
Being a greeter on Sunday mornings is one of the most important roles a church has. Greeters are on the front lines of outreach. Statistics say that people typically decide whether or not they will come back to our church before they even enter the Sanctuary doors. Welcome ministry consists of opening doors, hand shaking, directing people to locations throughout the church, being knowledgeable on the ministries and leaders of our church, and welcoming everyone with a friendly smile.
Coffee and Sunday Morning Sweets
We are always looking for volunteers who would like to help serve coffee or bring treats on Sunday mornings.
Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
Friendly Visitors fulfill our mission of “loving people into a relationship with Christ” by providing social visits at home or in the hospital, sending words of comfort in cards, co-coordinating our Meal Ministry, and sharing what Springhill teaches to individuals who may be going through a personal crisis, illness, mourning or other major life event.
Student Ministry Leaders
Walk with the lives of our students as they are in such a good, yet difficult, stage of life. Be a positive influence in their lives or help serve behind the scenes.
Children’s Ministry Leaders
Please prayerfully consider investing in our next generation of Christian leaders. Who shared their faith with you? Are you willing to share your faith with our children? We need preschool and elementary teachers, helpers, nursery attendants, and safety monitors as well as people to pray for everyone involved.
KidCheck attendants greet children and parents on Sunday mornings and help them check into the computer system and print their name tags. This is a great way to meet other families with young children at Springhill.
Vacation Bible School
Do you have a heart for sharing the Gospel with children? We need volunteers to help with planning, setting up and working at VBS.
Do you enjoy great fellowship, food, live music and dancing? Springhill’s annual Barn Dance is just the place for all of those activities. To make this event successful, we need help setting up and taking down the tent and dance floor, making and serving pies, greeting guests, staffing children’s activities and more.
Easter & Thanksgiving Meal Basket Ministry
Each year at Easter and Thanksgiving, we provide holiday meals to local families in need. You can donate money to this great cause as well as help sort food, put baskets together, and deliver baskets to families.
Meal Ministry Coordinator
Occasionally, we have families that need meals due to the birth of a new baby, medical issues, or a death in the family. Our meal ministry is a great way to provide a little extra assistance to families in need. This person would help line out individuals to take meals to families when they need it most.
Potlucks serve as a great time of fellowship in our congregation. If you like organizing events and can spare a few hours a month, this position may be for you!
Are you creative and crafty? Do you like to decorate? We need people to help decorate during the different holidays and for special occasions.
