The Women's Ministry of Springhill Church is excited about the many opportunities to serve God in 2010! The following is a list of goals for the year set by the ladies at the annual retreat and ways that you can be part of serving our community and each other!
Women's Bible Study - Provides a way for women of all ages to fellowship, learn and grow in their relationship with God

- For those of you who love to decorate, this opportunity is for you! Volunteers help decorate the church for the different Holiday seasons.

- The women's ministry of Springhill agreed to participate in Adopt-A-Family this year and adopt a single mom at Christmas time.

- Prayer Shawls are a beautiful shawl that is knitted or crocheted by this wonderful ministry group. The shawls are presented to those who are going through the loss of a loved one, extended hospital care, cancer treatments or recovery. "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and confirm for the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands." Psalm 90:17

- Events that bring the women of Springhill together and provide an opportunity to invite others to participate in Christian fellowship. Events are casual and usually involve a craft or activity. Watch for information for the fall event.

- Be part of a group of ladies who make the banners for the church sanctuary.

- Committee will decorate the bulletin boards in the church fellowship hall and keep them organized.

- This idea developed at the annual retreat, however, we still need a committee chair! If you have a heart for mission work and would like to lead this effort at Springhill, please contact Terri Kelly 388-0066.
- An overnight event for the women of Springhill to form bonds, study God's word, set annual goals for serving and of course, have FUN! You won't want to miss this: January 28/29, 2011 at Mountain Top Retreat Center. More information will come as we get closer.
